Carolina Vivas has spent the last eight years studying and practicing a
variety of yoga styles and has integrated these numerous methods into her own
teaching. Her classes are both challenging and restorative,
and bring full attention to the breath, alignment, and
concentration.
Carolina stumbled onto Yoga while working on Wall Street in New
York; seeking some balance in her life. After seeing the powerful
effects of asana practice and meditation, she knew her path was
shifting.
Carolina went on to become a certified yoga instructor and
reflexologist, teaching and treating clients part-time. After
training in New York with yoga masters Dharma Mittra and Sharon Gannon,
she moved to Los Angeles and discovered Steven Earth, Bryan
Kest, and Shiva Rea - who highly influenced her Power Yoga teaching
style. After a year
of full-time yoga-ing and reflex-ing, we shift
forward to
the present moment to San Diego, where she has firmly grounded her roots.
