Poem of the month

East West Yoga Student Poem

As I ponder the past
of things that might have been
of opportunities missed
and roads not taken with destinies felt

There is anguish
over passions denied
and dreams that did not materialize

Yet soon I will be back thinking in the present
where all things can be realized

It is where I sow the seeds of change
that will make the future grow with new light

With new roads to be taken
and opportunities held bright
amid new dreams a future destiny may
take flight
